Alex

During Elementary school I had a really close friend named Alex. My family knew him and we used to hang out very often. Alex was definitely a big part of my life. I learned how to ride a bike, how to swim, and how to ice skate for the first time with Alex. We always played video game consoles together and we celebrated birthdays together. I eventually had to move, for tennis, and I don't see Alex, but he will always be a big part of my life.

Athletic

I think another thing that makes my life unique is the fact that I am an athlete. I have been athlete since a little child. I started playing soccer at age 7 and I played until I was 11. I still love soccer to this day, but I have been playing tennis for a while now, and I am currently trying to become a professional. I always loved running in general, and love to be active. I think sports is a big part of my life because, fitness makes me feel healthy and fresh throughout the day.

Troublemaker

I think another part about my life that has made me unique is being a troublemaker in school. Growing up in school I was always a troublemaker. When I attended Elementary School I was very noisy and I never was able to sit in my seat. I would always get in constant trouble with my teachers. I would also love to tell jokes and I would get in trouble for that. Whether it was for being noisy, not sitting in my seat, or telling jokes I was always known for being a troublemaker.

Valeriy

My name is one thing I believe is unique about me. My name Valeriy was given to me by my parents in Moscow, Russia. In Russia it is a pretty popular name,  but in America it is very rare for a boy to be named Valeriy. Ever since I have been attending school in the United States, many teachers have mispronounced my name and called me Valerie like a girl.

The name Valeriy is the Russian form of Valerius. Valerius is Ancient Roman which means "to be strong". My name can describe my personality because there are times when I am courageous and strong.

Valeriy!
